Random Insect: Boxelder bug revisited

Eastern boxelder bug (Boisea trivittata, Rhopalidae) on an American red raspberry (Rubus ideaus, Rosaceae). Photographed 09/19/2010 near Palmyra Michigan.

Although I wrote about eastern boxelder bugs (Boisea trivittata, Rhopalidae) a couple of weeks ago, I was too proud of the clarity of this picture to not share it.  This specimen was climbing around an American red raspberry (Rubus ideaus, Rosaceae) in my garden, and I just know it was getting ready to invade my house for the winter.
